Northbrook Canoe Camp
Canoe Camp Mission:
The purpose is to provide a nurturing environment with fun, safe outdoor experiences fostering environmental stewardship and community building on the West Branch of the Brandywine Creek.
Canoe Camp Vision:
Northbrook Canoe Camp will contribute to the positive development of the community by fostering relationships between people and place. Steeped in place-based pedagogies and nature-based play, your child will learn about their environment through daily canoeing expeditions. Using canoeing as a means to see the creek, alongside activities such as collaborative art and nature journals, Northbrook Canoe Camp will focus on ideas of place-based learning and playing on the Brandywine. Come join us on the waterway, learn to canoe, meet new friends, make art, and splash in the creek!
